- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had unfortunately suffered from bad dentistry back in the 80's and hence in my early 40's my teeth really needed some sorting out (too many teeth not enough space!) I talked to my dentist (in Bungay) who recommended the Palace Plain Orthodontic Practice so I had a consultation visit and my dentist and I received a detailed report of what really needed doing with costs. Now, I have to say at the start that it was a reasonable amount of money to commit to (for me, due to work required it was at the higher end) , but they did allow it to be spread over time with visits, which helped a lot. My dentist took out 3 teeth in March 2012 and had my first treatment session with Dr Hare in April that year. Dr Hare explained the process and what he was doing, always in a friendly manner, with each visit that were 3 months a part. After 3 years of visiting every 3 months finally my "Fixed Appliance" was removed and I could move to using the retainers. Still the care continued, initially still at 3 months then increasing to 6 months then finally a year. So in April this year (2017) 5 years after starting, Dr Hare has finished his "magic" on me. Even though it's finished I still need to use the retainers a couple of times a week, but he has said that if ever one breaks to return and he can make up another set. Great "after sales" care :-) Now I said at he beginning it was a lot of money for me to commit to but I have to say, now I have been through all the process, seen the care given, the equipment they need, staff to run the place, plus all the time in training that I guess is ongoing (and I don't even want to think how much their annual insurance is) that now I view the costs as very good indeed, in fact I'm surprised how reasonable the costs were.
